Product Introduction
Purple sweet potato red pigment is a kind of natural red pigment extracted from the root tuber and stem and leaf of purple sweet potato. It belongs to anthocyanins and is obtained by the glycosylation reaction between anthocyanins and sugar. The red pigment of purple sweet potato is bright and natural in color, non-toxic and has no special smell.
Product Function
Due to its good heat resistance, its ability to withstand disinfection in the food industry, and its alcohol and water solubility, it can be used as a red to purplish-red colouring agent for foodstuffs and added to foods such as ice cream, beverages, jellies, cereals, etc., as well as being used for salad decoration.
